I should be going back to my maiden name soon. Life has definitely been a journey over these 24 years... some of it I could've done without! LOL .... but I'm pretty happy these days with where I'm at, and i like to think i have places still to go! :-)

Superman Z  (posted by Ward Kimball on 10-22-08)
Great news! Carrie is bringing Ter home tomorrow. Recently, I had the privilege of spending some time with Terry @ rehab. To see him work so hard and realize how far he has come makes me appreciate him even more. Walking the halls and being in the rehab room, he is like a RockStar. Everyone knows him and speaks to him. Does that surprise anyone? He is like a speed demon when he walks and his arms and hands are slowly coming along. I am truly privileged to say, we are friends. I am thanking God everyday for his miracle.
Helping out a friend  (posted by Ward Kimball on 08-20-08)
Wow! this community is unbelievable. Spanky and some of the guys have already organized a gun raffle and they are working on a second. The gas cards are much appreciated also. Kyle just left for Adrian College this past Sunday and needed gas money to get back and forth. This is a tough time for him being so far away. There is a Spaghetti Dinner scheduled for Wednesday, Sept 3rd. It will be held @ the Ogemaw County Fairgrounds @ 6 p.m.. Howie needs people to make desserts. Please keep your thoughts and prayers coming and stay informed by using the carepages website.

Terry was injured Saturday in an accident in Houghton Lk.. Lydia and I went to St Marys NICU ydy. to see him. He is paralyzed from the neck down and is on a ventilator. Dr. Fields is *hopeful*. I am not extremely religious but we all need to say a prayer for Terry, Carrie and the kids. He is a strong man and one of my best friends! I LOVE U, Ter!

I am sitting in a strange sort of cyber cafe in Kimilili, Kenya and thinking of home. Thought I should jot down some news for the OHHS website. I leave tomorrow to return to Uganda for 5-6 more weeks of work, and maybe some personal time in Congo visiting friends. I had a great time at the reunion and wish you all well.
