For all of you that have signed up, please complete filling out your profile. We all know your name, but an email address, spouse, children, job, etc. Some people didn't make it to our 10 yr and might want to drop you an email. I have gotten a couple emails from classmates wanting me to post a message so everyone will fill in more info. That is why we are able to use this site.... to keep in contact with everyone! | Kraig Conyer Receives An Award For Teaching
Great Job To Kraig!!!!!!!!!!!
Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching… Hinsdale South adaptive physical education teacher Kraig Conyer was surprised on Thursday, March 15, by representatives of the Golden Apple Foundation, Hinsdale South staff, and members of the news media, when he stepped off the bus after returning from taking his class bowling, and was presented with one of only 10 Golden Apple Awards for Excellence in Teaching. Over 900 teachers from Illinois were nominated for this prestigious award, which includes a semester sabbatical to study at Northwestern University, an apple computer and a monetary honor as well as being named a Golden Apple Fellow with membership in the Golden Apple Academy. A reception is being held Monday, March 19 from 7 – 7:30 p.m. in the Black and Gold Room at Hinsdale South, prior to the regular school board meeting to honor Mr. Conyer, as well as Mr. John Naisbitt from Hinsdale Central. We have always known that Mr. Conyer is special….now everyone in the state knows that, too! Please take the time to congratulate him!

Hello everyone! How is everybody??? So................anyone watching any sports on TV??? Is anybody else disgusted by what's going on in the world of sports. Baseball is a steroid infested mess with a player about break one of the all-time greatest records. The only problem is Bonds is a big steroid cheater. In football, we have a boat load of players who can't manage to not get arrested, and of course Mike Vick (aka Ron Mexico) indicted by the feds for running and gambling on a dog fighting ring. Don't forget the NBA. Tim Donaghy gambling on games in which he officiated and linked the to Mob (the Gambino Family). And you have the MLS trying to buy U.S. viewers and International viewers by paying David Beckham $50million dollars a year for five years. So................what's up with all the crazy stuff?!?!? It would be awesome if anybody wanted to talk about these topics. Congrats on the new addition!!! Enjoy them why they are young :) It doesnt last long. My baby will be 2 on the 23rd :( and my oldest will be 6 on the 27, throw in my 4 year old ahhhhh!!!! They are getting old fast. Kortiny just finished kindergarten and made it to 1st grade at St Joe!!!! NEW WITH ME......I am moving to Royal Oak and starting a new life with my boyfriend. I will be attending Lisa McCauley's wedding on June 9th. I miss everyone and hope to see all of you soon. Mini reunion is in order. |
