As some of you know I have left the Navy with 10yrs and 2 mths service completed and as part of my new job had to move..... It has been a very hellacious couple of months but things are finally starting to get settled out. So here it goes!!!!!!!!!!
Where are you? Well i have move to a town in Alabama called Anniston........... yeah, i know you've never heard of it and neather had I until I got here. It's a relatively small town compared to what I've been used to for the past 10 yrs but then again taht was what I was looking for. Town features: 3 Walmarts in a 15 mile stretch........ all on the same road. more pawn shops and money lenders than you can shake a stick at and more seem to be coming everyday, Talladega(<15mi away) with races every saturday night at the dirt track and go-karts on friday(I have also figured out why my NASCAR friends refer to it as Tittydaga), and a drive in movie theater($10/car for 2 movies). That's about it!
What am I doing in this town? Well right now sitting in class for over 8 hours a day and learning how to safely destroy chemical weapons for the Army. No we don't just launch them into the fields in town. We actually use a process of incineration do do the work for us and to prevent the release of nerve and blister agent to the atmosphere. Want to know more just ask, most people I've found out don't really give a shi* about the how just as long as they aren't gonna die.

My due date is Aug. 10th. So I don't think we will be at the reunion, but we will make it if we can. Are you sure we can't push this back later:) Who knows, maybe he'll come early! |

My life is pretty much in a transitional phase at the moment. I have been back in West Branch for 5yrs now and it's time to move on. I am a licensed Insurance Agent and working on relocating to Waterford in the next few weeks. |

Just waiting to leave this state, working and tryingto finish school. Going to europe in the spring for Jason's Med School graduation present, and really just planning out future. Six years general surgery residency, 2-3 Plastics specialty fellowship.....then maybe Own practice......so I'll be workinghard till he brings home the bucks......My kids go to school where I work so I spend lots of time with them...and things are just SUPER! |
